CAMP BADO DANGWA: Police Regional Office Cordillera Regional Director PCSUPT Elmo Francis Oco Sarona spearheaded the pinning and donning of ranks of the newly promoted police officers of the Regional Headquarters, Benguet PPO and BCPO in a simple ceremony at the PROCOR Covered court, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet this afternoon.

Of the 811 promoted personnel, 28 are Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) composed of 7 Police Superintendent, 6-PCINSP, 15-PSINSP, while the 83 Police Non-Police Commissioned (PNCO) Officers are composed of 57-SPO4, 304-SPO3, 139 SPO2, 219 SPO1, 39 PO3, and 25 PO2 assigned in different police units of PROCOR.

In recognition of their effort in meticulously screening the promotable personnel, medals and certificates were awarded to the members of the promotion boards headed by PSSUPT R’win S Pagkalinawan, Deputy Regional Director for Administration and PSSUPT Sterling Raymund P Blanco, Deputy Director for Operation. Other members PSSUPT David K Peredo Jr, PSUPT Homer T Penecilla, and NAPOLCOM representatives Miss Soledad D Benwaren, Atty. Henry M Dungala and Atty. Acosta Joy Anniban were also recognized.

PCSUPT Sarona congratulated the newly promoted officers and challenged them to do their best and help the PNP In the fight against illegal drugs and scalawags in the organization and set good example for others to emulate.

The PNP will continue to give recognition to deserving personnel by way of promotion to PNP uniformed personnel as it uplifts their morale to strive more and enhance their capabilities and skills to boost the police professionalism standard.

These newly promoted police Officers are expected to perform their best in enforcing the law to protect the public and community from all kinds of illegal activities.

Moreover, the donning and pinning of ranks is done simultaneously in all other police provincial offices of Abra, Apayao, Ifugao, Mt. Province and Kalinga to acknowledge the achievement of the promotees. (PROCOR RPIO)
