PROCOR CAMP BADO DANGWA: After his adaption as son of Mountain Province with an Igorot name "Muling", the Philippine National Police Chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa is now officially adopted as a “Son of Cordillera” after a ritual performed by the Regional Development Council led by its Chairman and City Mayor of Baguio, Hon. Mauricio Domogan. As a Cordilleran, the CPNP was named ”Mulingan” which means the hardest stone in the Cordillera.

It can be recalled that the move of adopting the Chief PNP as a Cordilleran son was tackled during the RPOC/RDC meeting held in Apayao last month. The council then, through its secretariat assessed the possibility of the above endeavor. After the assessment, the council found it proper and appropriate to adopt the CPNP for his substantial and meaningful contribution to the development of the Cordillera region hence, the passing of RDC-CAR Executive Committee Resolution Nr. 14, series of 2017.

Through his strong leadership, PROCORs achievement has improved significantly and among the most notable accomplishment was the reduction of drug-affected barangays in the region from 69% to less than 2% which lead PROCOR garner a Plaque of Recognition for surpassing its target on Double Barrel. Apart from that, PROCOR also bested other Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC) in Luzon and at the National Level. The drastic reduction of the Total Crime Volume and monthly crime rate of the region from July 2016 to June 2017 is a manifestation that the above accomplishments are felt by the citizenry.
