PROCOR CAMP BADO DANGWA: Benguet Provincial Governor Hon. Crescencio C Pacalso graced the celebration of the 27th PNP Foundation Day Celebration of Police Regional Office Cordillera this morning here at PROCOR, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The Celebration started with the wreath laying at the PROCOR Heroes Memorial Monument as part of commemorating the unwavering gallantry, immense courage, and heroism of noble and unsung heroes of Police Regional Office Cordillera.

Highlight of the event was the awarding of deserving PNP personnel and civilian individuals by Hon. Pacalso assisted by PROCOR Regional Director PCSUPT Edward E Carranza and other members of the command group.

Awarded with the Medalya Ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) were PSUPT Sibly P Dawiguey Jr; PO3 Joe Joenell G Tampic; PO2 Chuck Jexek W Lozano, all of BCPO; PSI Monroe A Angpeo; PO3 Denver G Besic; and PO2 Erick V Wakat, all of Benguet PPO; PSinsp Peter T Angyodan; SPO4 Rolando K Banganan; and PO1 Salvador P Cadwagan, Jr, all of Mt. Province. Their significant accomplishments manifest their high sense of commitment in intensifying the anti-criminality campaign that earned credit not only for themselves but for the PROCOR as well.

Civilian awardees from Local Government Units, and private sectors were Rev. Francisco M Sanchez, B Sanchez, Hon. Mayor Romeo K Salda, Hon Mayor Mariano B Bulwayan, Jr, Hon. Mayor Ferdinand B Tubban, Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO), and Bontoc Municipal Traffic Enforcer Volunteers Organization (BMTEVO). Said awardees received Plaques of Appreciation in recognition to their invaluable supports to the PNP PROCOR in sustaining peace and order and its anti-criminality campaign in the region.

Moreover, Hon. Pacalso also graced the Blessing and Turn-over of twenty-two (22) units of 4x4 Toyota Hi-lux Light Personnel Carriers and 12 units of 135 cc Kawasaki Rousers motorcycle to PROCOR Police Units to enhance their mobilities and would make them more capable to pursue their tasks and responsibilities. Issuance of these vehicle units is part of the continuing capability enhancement program of the PNP. Recipients of the Toyota Hi-lux were RMFB with one unit; Abra PPO-3 Units; Benguet PPO-5 units; Kalinga PPO-6 units; Mt. Province-3 units; Apayao PPO-2 units; and Ifugao PPO- 2 units. For the Kawasaki Rouser Motorcycle, recipients were the ten 10 Police Stations of BCPO and Regional Headquarters.

Police Service Anniversary is a yearly celebration to commemorate the founding anniversaries of its forerunner organizations-the Philippine Constabulary which was established in August 8, 1901 and the Integrated National Police activated on August 8, 1975. (PROCOR RPIO)
