PROCOR CAMP BADO DANGWA: P/CSUPT EDWARD ESPERAT CARRANZA, Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Director, graced the graduation rites of seventy-five (75) Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) personnel, and dependents who completed the first ever command initiated Skills Development Training.

The training was held in coordination with Mr. Reynaldo Bautista, President, JAIME V. ONGPIN FOUNDATION Inc., and the current Chairperson of the PROCOR Regional Advisory Council, King’s College of the Philippines, La Trinidad, Benguet, Technical Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation (PMFTC).

The TESDA certified training was formally opened last October 6, 2017, with no less than the wife of the Chief, PNP Ms. Nancy Dela Rosa as the Guest of honor and speaker. It consists of three courses; Cookery, Automotive Servicing and Electrical Installation and Maintenance, and was conceptualized to provide additional income generating opportunities for the participants, and ensure their participation in economic activities thru entrepreneurship.

Ms. Christine Dela Cruz a representative from PMFTC, led other distinguished Guests from Local Government Units, Automotive Companies, Government Agencies, and other Non-Government organizations who attended the culminating exercises, an occasion which also served as a platform to present the skilled graduates to possible future employers.

As PROCOR takes a new journey towards expanding the beneficiaries’ capacities for productivity and self-reliance, the command also takes the extra step to project their potentials, and offer their services to the skilled labor force market.
