Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet: Implementation of search warrants and buy bust operations as part of the anti-criminality operations against illegal drugs yield eight drug suspects in separate areas by joint operatives of the Police Regional Office Cordillera and other drug enforcement units over the past days.

For the implementation of search warrant, two high value targets were arrested after assorted drug evidence were seized and recovered in their respective residences.

Elpidio B. Acosta, 56, was arrested at Sitio Linasin, Zone 1, Bangued, Abra in the morning of November 25, 2019 while Brandon C. Gaddaoan, 38was arrested at Barangay Naguillan, Sallapadan, Abra in the morning of November 22, 2019. During the operations, 15 pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia were recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, five persons were apprehended while two minor was taken into custody after they sold sachet of suspected shabu to an operative who posed as buyer during a buy bust operation.

Alfredo Tablada Depollo a.k.a “Lovely Depollo” aka “Tweetie“, 39, and resident of Gibraltar, Baguio City was arrested at Maharlika Livelihood Complex, Abanao St., Baguio City in the afternoon of November 22, 2019 while Michael Fulgencio Cerezo, 40, and a resident of Kayang Hilltop, Baguio City was arrested inside D’ Winers Bar, Kayang-Hilltop, Baguio City in the night of November 20, 2019. Confiscated and recovered from their possessions were four (4) sachets of suspected shabu, cash money amounting to Php500.00, Php1,500.00 buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Moreover, two more high value targets identified as Wensley E. Camora, 39, driver and Darwin E. Camora, 37, helperand both residents of Bahong, La Trinidad, Benguet were arrested at Talingting, Pagal, Shilan, La Trindad, Benguet in the afternoon, both on November 21, 2019. Recovered and confiscated from their possessions were five (5) plastic sachet of suspected shabu, Php2,000.00 buy bust money, Php14,000.00 boodle money and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Furthermore, a 17 and 15 year old minors, both residents of Bangued, Abra were taken into custody at Zone 6, Bangued, Abra in the evening of the same date. Recovered and confiscated evidence were three (3) plastic sachet containing suspected shabu; Php3,000.00 boodle money; Php120.00 cash money; a Cellular phone I PHONE 5 and assorted drug paraphernalia.

All arrested suspects are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
