CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad Benguet: Through the Regional Advisory Council, Police Regional Office Cordillera received donations of cash, sets of computer and building materials from the Directress of Mount Carmel Montessori, Baguio during the Monday flag raising ceremony on February 3, 2020.
Directress/President Dona Digna Rosario donated cash check to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) amounting to Php100,000.00 duly received by PCOL Mario Mayames Jr, Battalion Commander while two (2) computer sets with printer were received by the PSMU, Baguio City Police Office and Regional Engineering Unit.
The cash assistance and building materials will be utilized by the maneuver company of the RMFB15 based in Mt. Polis for the improvement of their detachment camp. The improvement of said facility will boost the morale of the personnel as they will be housed in a more conducive edifice and thus hope to enhance their motivation to perform their functions as law enforcers – to serve and protect the community.
“The contributions offered to us by Ms. Dona Digna Rosario, through the Regional Advisory Council is a clear manifestation of her love and support to the Philippine National Police, especially to Police Regional Office Cordillera. You are a big help in the realization of our plans and programs and the successful attainment of our goals”, PBGen Israel Ephraim T Dickson, the outgoing Regional Director said.
In a short period, RAC member Ms Rosario has also extended numerous donations of school supplies and sets of computers not only to the PROCOR headquarters but also to various schools in the province of Abra and Benguet.
PROCOR will continue to work in unity towards a safer environment with the aid of all the different RAC members of PROCOR.
In return, Certificate of appreciation was awarded to Ms. Dona Digna Rosario, in recognition of her generous donation of cash money, school supplies, building equipment, and sponsorship of RAC Meetings, recollections, and Team building. (PROCOR RPIO)
