CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – With the strict implementation of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) of the extended Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) within the City, 4 suspects were arrested for loitering thus violating the 24 hr curfew in Pacdal, Baguio City in the early morning today, May 11, 2020.

On the report of the City Director of BCPO, PCOL Allen Rae F. Co to the Regional Director of Police Regional Office Cordillera, PBGen R’win SA Pagkalinawan, the arrested suspects were identified as Mike Kevin Ancheta Bane, 24, resident of Tiptop, Ambuklao, Baguio City; Daryl Torres Cruz, 25, resident of Tiptop, Pacdal, Baguio City, Noel Velasco Galvan,20, resident of Engineer’s Hill, Baguio City and Kristofferson Balbin Domogan, 38, resident of Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City.

Prior to their arrest,  while the apprehending personnel implementing the ECQ at around 2:15 AM of May 11, 2020, in Amsing, Pacdal Baguio City, they caught the suspects for loitering and were brought to police station 3 for their detention, upon searching for their belongings, apprehending personnel found nine (9) plastic sachet of crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, one (1) weighing scale; one (1) caliber 22 magnum revolver; twenty (20) pcs ammunition for cal. 22; Six (6) pcs ammunition for cal. 38;  one (1) pc ammunition for cal. 357 magnum and two (2) pcs ammunition for cal. 9 mm all in  the possession of Kristofferson Balbin Domogan.

Appropriate charges were being prepared for the arrested suspects while the seized items were turned over to the Crime Laboratory for examination.

The Regional Director of PROCOR, PBGen Pagkalinawan, lauded the operatives and reminded the people of the intensified operations against criminalities amid this health situation. “We are very vigilant and pro-active during this pandemic to lessen the threat, there is no way that we allow any unauthorized person/criminals who are trying to disrupt the peace and order situation in the region to succeed”.
