CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet: A leader and a member of
the Doctolero Criminal group linked to a series of illegal activities in
Kalinga finally landed in jailed after they were captured in Brgy.
Balong, Tabuk City, Kalinga on September 18, 2020.

PBGeneral R’win SA Pagkalinawan, PROCOR Regional Director, identified
the arrested leader of the Doctolero Criminal Group as Jerry Carag
Doctolero, 44 years old and a Brgy. Chairman of Brgy. Balong, Tabuk
City, Kalinga, and a member of the group as Jocel Carag Doctolero, 33
years old farmer and both residents of Brgy. Balong, Tabuk City,
Kalinga.

Evidence confiscated from Jerry were Four (4) short and One (1) long
aluminum Magazine for M16 rifle; One (1) long plastic magazine for M16
rifle; One (1) magazine for Cal. 9mm pistol; Three (3) steel magazine
for AK 47 rifle; 32 live ammunition for M16; One (1) live ammo for
Cal.45 pistol; One (1) live ammo for shotgun; One (1) long magazine for
Cal. 30; One (1) short magazine for Cal.30; One (1) plastic case for
Cal.30 rifle; and One (1) plastic case for Taurus pistol. While One (1)
AK 47 rifle; One (1) Magazine for AK 47 rifle; and 20 pieces live
Ammunition for AK 47 rifle was taken from Jocel.

The Doctolero group was responsible and involved in a series of gun
running, gun trading and land grabbing activities that took place in the
Province of Kalinga and other adjacent provinces.

The successful swift implementation of search warrant issued by Judge
Hon Jerson E Angog of RTC, Br. 25, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga by the
combined operatives of PROCOR and other special operating units of the
PNP led to their arrest.

PRO COR is appealing to the public that those who may have been
victimized by these criminal groups may report to the nearest police
station to file charges against the suspects.

“I admire the hard work of our warrant officers and tracking team for
exerting efforts to hunt down these criminals so they may be made to
