LOOK: Police Officers of Ifugao Police Provincial Office participated in the National Simultaneous Bamboo and Tree Planting Activity in Brgy. Sanafe, Lamut, Ifugao on September 13, 2022.

According to PCOL JAMES DUCCOG MANGILI, Provincial Director of Ifugao Police Provincial Office, a total of 1,500 Narra and 200 Tuwol tree seedlings were planted during the said activity.

The activity was actively participated by the police officers from Ifugao PMFC and different Municipal Stations of Ifugao PPO, Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Education (DepEd) and volunteers from the different Local Government Units of Ifugao.

Further, said activity was initiated by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)”.

With a theme: “Buhayin ang Pangangalaga ng Kalikasan”, the activity reinforces the advocacy of the Philippine National Police as protector of the environment, under its core value of being “MAKAKALIKASAN”. (PROCOR-PIO).
